‘HE Heard You’
“When you pray, don’t babble on and on as people of other religions do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again. Matthew 6:7
Prayer does not have to be hours long, repeating the same request over and over to be effective. When I order a pizza, I call, place the order, and wait for the DELIVERY. Now, if we Christians are supposed to have faith in JEHOVAH GOD, why can’t we do the same in our prayer life? Why can’t we just pray, petition, and give praise and worship knowing that the petition request will be DELIVERED to us in HIS time? Is it that we trust the pizza man more than we trust JEHOVAH to deliver? Think about this the next time you pray. Those repeated words in prayer can be time spent praying for someone or about something else. Prayer is conversation with GOD. Would you repeat the same conversation to your earthly friend? Have faith when you pray that HE hears you the first time-you cannot rush HIM.
